I broke a spoke the other day. This didn't surprise me as my new bike came with a 24 spoke rear wheel and I weigh in at 220. I'm trying to fin a decent replacement wheel. Here are my priorities:
quiet freehub (silent): 15%
color (black): 10%
I probably want a 36 spoke wheel, but I could be talked in to a 32 spoke I guess.

What's the spacing on your rear hub?
I run a 135mm Deore hub laced 3 cross with DT Champion 2.0 spokes and brass nipples to a 32h DT RR1.1 rim. I'm very happy with this wheel.
I have a SON28 generator up front laced the same to a matching rim.
I'm 240 pounds and these wheels are on my commuter/brevet bike.

I rode all of last season (about 3500 miles) at 260-270# on a set of Neuvation M-28 Aero's. To this day they are still in great shape. I trued them over the winter, but they really didn't need it.
