I know this may be a very noob thing to ask, but I cant seem to figure this out. Im installing a 203mm rotor for the front braking system. Im using Avid BB7s.
I have this adapter:http://www.pricepoint.com/detail/167...-Included).htm (the lower right one.)
There are 4 holes. 2 are threaded and 2 are not. I haven't installed 203mm adapters before, and the others (ie. 160mm and 185mm) have only 2 holes, which bolt right on the the fork. Ive tried different combinations, but haven't figured out where to put the bolts. Either way, the mount seems to be too small. Its spacing is about the same size as an Avid 185mm adapter.
I followed this picture. It seems I would need more CPS spacers for the top bolt. There is an empty space. Its not straight forward like the other adapters. Anyone have this problem or recognize this inconsistency? Can someone lead me in the right direction, or post a photo with your setups on the adapter and caliper? Thanks.
