I recall reading about ppl having issues with 11t and lockrings? will i have a problem mounting this on my mavic cosmos wheelset? Using an ultegra rd ss and compact if that makes any difference.

Well you need an 11t lockring with the 11t cog.

sorry..lame question.. do the shimano cassettes that are in 11-25t come with this lockring or do you have to purchase it seperately?

I don't know. I have no use for an 11.

It will work, it should come with a lockring though.

FWIW, I just bought a SRAM 11-25T and it cometh with a lockring.
