Glad to meet you. I'm too far away to ride with you. A pity. But you'll find someone. Good luck.

Hey whats up my name is Poleen but you can call me Polo. And yes i'm a GUY and not a GIRL. Damn parents gave me this stupid name for some reason. But anyways if you are around my area, you'd probably seen me on the streets on my bike. I ride a 06 Specialized Langster. I usually wear my Crankinstin'stein jersey. Hit me up if you wanna ride. Hi Poleen,
Welcome to the Forums. I'm a year round commuter from Kenmore Square to Norwood and an occasional centurian. In the past three weeks, I've done two rides in your area from Boston: up Rte 28 to Methuen and along the Merrimac to Lowell, then on to Chelmsford, south to Rte 27, to Rte 20 and back to Boston; and out Rte 38 to Tewksbury and 3A back to Boston. I got lost trying to get to 3A on Pleasant Street in Tewksbury, but I did ride on some nice backroads.

Jim anytime you are up in these parts, shoot me an email, I will show you some nice roads that will avoid all the traffic and lights. (Although 110 along the river is pretty nice - and flat). I rarely head south or south east as the congestion just gets exponentially worse with each mile closer to Boston. ;)

Hi zac,
Thanks for the offer. Rte 110 was pretty nice as I recall, with some river views. This has been my first season exploring that far north. Most of my weekend rides from Kenmore Square for years have been south, west, or along the North Shore.
That ride on 110 was an attempted solo century up north on 28 to Methuen, to Lowell via 110, North Chelmsford, down to 27 and to Rte 20 back to Boston. I only made 82 miles due to time limitations, getting lost in Lawrence, two broken spokes and a flat tire. :twitchy:
