Professional Cycling For the Fans - Schleck Brothers Video

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Caught this on YouTube . . . . there's just no way these guys should be on different teams. . . . they're like peanut butter and jelly.

They talk about Armstrong, press rumors and tour stuff. Very entertaining :)
They're riding for Saxo Bank next year . . . period.
I was impressed by their straight foward interviews durning the TDF. Glad to hear they honor their contracts also. Wish them the best.

Whats on Andys shirt? Looks like Christ carrying the cross but then again, it looks as if Christ has a ballcap on. I dont think that would go together.
I like when Andy said they just signed a contract with Armstrong so Frank can afford the 380K Euro diamond ring

Loved it. Thanks for sharing. I hope they can keep that awesome Saxo team together. So many great riders with great personalities.

Seriously. Andy Schleck is 1.5 inches or so shorter than me and over 20 pounds lighter according to that interview. Skinny freak.

A very rare example of true brotherhood. They should be the poster "children" for pro cycling! Thanks for sharing.
Cheers,

They both seem cool. I must admit, a lot cooler than AC and LA as mentioned above.
6'1" and 143 pounds? Holy cow, I thought I was a beanpole at 6'5" 175. No wonder he can climb!

Yes .. . . it gives new meaning to term "slight build"
When friends and family tell me I need to put on some weight . . I'm 6'3" 165. . . . I now refer them to the Schlecks
Andy said he puts on muscle during the tour. Funny how they pan the camera to his arms! . . .Not much there. They are of the body type though that won't show muscle gain or loss easily. Some people gain weight from added muscle from riding . . some don't. I know I lose muscle away from riding . . . . so the bike is the best way for me to retain what I have or gain. I've weighed much more than I do know . . .but I can't say I climb any better. . . .there's a point where less weight becomes less strength. . . but I'm no great rider either. The Schlecks are able to ride well as beanpoles though . . .but even they would have a point of diminishing returns if they weighed less.

Love these guys. Just the whole idea of them is pretty precious.
Appreciate the comments about respecting their contracts.

I agree! What a refreshing change from the AC vs LA soap opera. Like others who posted before me, I appreciate the fact that they want to honor their contract with Saxo Bank. I wish them continued success.
For me one of the more touching moments of the TDF was when Frank and Andy held hands crossing the finish line in Stage 17.
