Hey guys, i'm looking to change up my chainring on my fixed gear and i have some questions.

So i was looking into chainrings and i noticed a big variety of brands and such. Can anyone recommend a good budget brand to get a solid chainring ?

Also, i don't really understand the sizing of chainrings. I measured the center to center of my current ring to be about 71 mm. Can anyone help me out on finding the right size ?

Thanks alot guys

http://www.loosescrews.com/index.cgi?c=Crank/Chainring&id=869369230713 Good selection in all sizes. Sugino is good and not expensive.

Are you sure the size is not etched on your ring? Most are BCD (Bolt Circle Diameter) 130 or 110.

You need to know BCD, number of teeth and number of bolts.

welll, they came on a really old miyata frame so i'm not surprised that the sizing is completely different.

i'm gonna go ahead and say that the bcd is 122. 5 bolt chain ring and about 71 mm c to c.
anyone know where i can get chainrings in this size ?
or will i probably have to get new cranks too ?
