I used both the Nashbar and Performance coupons today and they worked.

I just got a catalog NASHBAR is 10% off w/ coupon code w193 until 8/16/04. Rocket science these numbers!

Performance code still works on 7-9. Interestingly if you view the page logged in with you team number some prices are even lower. When placing my order it took the 20% code and also allowed me to use the points earned on this order against this order ! Can't do that in the store.
Saved an extra $100 on a Shimano 105 groupo. Cheaper than used on eBay!

I used the Performance coupon again today (7/14) and it still works for 20% off...

Just went to the Northbrook, IL store and they gave me the 20% off in-store on a new Tirreno Razza 3.0 to meet (well, beat if you exclude shipping) the web price. I must say I was most impressed with their quick decision to match the printout of the checkout page showing the overall discount.

FYI - it helps to bring a screen-print, so they'll just go ahead and give you the price-match.

I'd read on here that some of the stores are too cool about the web coupons, but they gave me no problems with it.

At some point, please post a review of the Razza. I've had my eye on one for a while but can't find any reviews one way or the other...

Will do, but being that I'm coming into road bikes from a few mountain bikes over the past several years, I can already say this thing is like night and day faster than anything I've been riding.

I plan to replace the rim-tape asap as I've heard this to be a negative out of the box - the mystery-flat syndrome.

One negative so far is that I really fit the 56cm perfectly, except the seat was a touch high, and with the carbon-fiber post, you can't lower it as much as I needed. The seat is always about 2 inches off the frame, and the post tapers at that point and you can't lower it any more, so I had to swap out to an old alum post I had laying around.

Otherwise, this thing flies.

I went to Performance shop in San diego today and I showed them the 20% coupon code and they didn't honor it..on what products can you use it? would it work to buy a new bike?

First, I'd think for using the coupon on a bike, it'd have to be a bike they sell online (Tirreno Razza) - otherwise there's no price-matching going on.

Perhaps in my case they knew that they had three of the exact bike I wanted (down to the size), and I wanted it - so they either hold three on the floor and build the boxed on I'd bring them in two days, or thin their mid-season stock and make room for something else.

This seems to be pretty common though with brick-and-mortar stores not always handling matching their own website prices in a consistent manner. Petsmart does the same thing - I've had luck with my local store meeting the web prices, but read of others with no such luck. Perhaps a call to their customer service hotline would help clear things up, or if you're looking at the Tirrenos just buy one and drop it off for them to build up for you.

As of 7-25-04, the Performance 20% off coupon still works. Saved $ 46 on this order, and $ 90 on an order placed on the 22nd of July and delivered today. Great service.

You don't - it's automatic if you clicked through to performance from ebates. You get the 3% back directly from ebates.
