Pacific Northwest - Hottest Day of the Year Ride

Anybody from Portland going to do the Hottest Day of the Year Ride?

I'm stoked! This will be my first ride.

I did the Worst Day of the Year ride back in February. These rides are fun and have a family-friendly party atmosphere to them. That said, I'm growing a bit tired of paying to register for all of these rides so I will not be participating in this one (will be doing the Bridge Pedal, though).

I'll probably make a loop from the 'Couv down to the Lucky Lab, Kelley Point and back up. I can't do the entire long loop- I've got to get my wife at the airport. Too bad I'm going to miss the Slip 'n' Slide:

I would love to do the Bridge Pedal but I'm leaving for Vegas on the 9th! Bummer, but the ride was a blast. The ride was kind of expensive but Subaru gave out all sorts of reflectors, which was pretty cool! All in all, it was a blast. Glad I did it.
