Everything seemed backwards today on my ride. Mid '80's in the last week of July. Then I had 4 count'em 4 differrent cars that had the right of way and waved me through the intersection ahead of them.
What a great day to ride here in DFW today. Everyone (myself inclued) is quick to gripe about bad drivers and near misses, but I'd like to say cheers to the drivers here in Grapevine today. Thanks for keeping an eye out for the cyclist. :beer:

Shhh, you're not supposed to tell anyone. If this gets around it could kill our image
and then all them 'furners' ( from places like new hampshire) will come down here.

I find drivers in Coppell, Frisco and Irving to be courteous 99% of the time.

now the fact that it was in the 80s. thats bizarre.

the group ride this past Tuesday, a few drivers were honking and waving! must be the Lance Effect.

I'm looking out the window of my studio at the bank thermometer across the street and it's 81 degree's at 1:15pm!!!!....usually this time of day-time of year it'd be well into the 90's....sure glad I decided to commute this morning and can't wait to get home at 5:30, swap bikes, and head out for a nice little 25-30miler in the 'probably sub-90's' afternoon/evening!
