Hello guys,

Did my first Sprint Triathlon last weekend on a BTT (swapped the tires to Schwalbe Marathons) and I'm thinking about buying a more Tri-oriented bike. I'm not really into road cycling (there's too much car traffic where I live) and I'd like a bike I could use in other rides than strictly Triathlons. As I very much like folding bikes I was wondering if a Dahon Speed Pro TT might be suitable for Sprint (and maybe Olympic) triathlons. I've searched the forum without success. What do you guys think?

Thanks a lot!

I think it would be too unstable for a tri with a hilly course. Your center of gravity is high on the that bike and the low front wheel makes an excellent pivot point so you can be thrown over the bars easily. But if your courses are mostly flat and smooth I would not anticipate a problem.
