I have a green LHT with the honey colored Brooks saddle and leather bar tape to match. I am looking for a classy leather or canvas seat bag to match. Does anyone have any suggestions on what to get and where to find it.

How big of a bag do your need? If you need something fairly large, the Carradice Barley in green with leather trim would look nice on your bike. Acorn makes a similar bag available in black or tan -- as well as several other very nice seatbags that are slightly smaller. I've got the Barley as well as Acorn medium/large seatbag.

I've ordered from Wiggle before with good service. Their prices are great, and they are offering free shipping to the USA with orders over $83.

Gilles Berthoud. Peter White sells them among others. Might as well get the original.

Just received a medium sackville from rivendell yesterday. Well made, sturdy bag, looks nice on my LHT.

I 2nd the Sackville. I just got in the Trunksack small to mount on the front of my bike. There are somethings which you can just tell are quality and that is one of them. If I had a Brooks or another saddle that could accommodate a large type saddle bag I would have gone with the Sackville medium, but as it stands, the rails on a regular saddle do not seem like the would be supportive enough for a such a large bag.

Well I decided to go with one of the Acorn bags and as luck would have it they had the model I wanted in stock. I went with the roll style, if any one else is interested they still have a few left.

I also just picked up an Acorn roll bag (http://www.acornbags.com/rollbag.html)in black.. That thing is slick. It holds everything my old "under the seat" bag held with room for more, such as wallet, keys, cell phone, etc and you can even wrap up a jacket or something inside when you roll it up. Very classy looking, and the quality is absolutely top notch.

I own several Rivendell bags, they're all really well made and really nice. My Carradice Nelson Longflap is nice, too, but more functional than elegant. Those are the two that I have direct experience with, but I've heard lots of good things about other bags mentioned in this thread.
