Subject says it. Kids 24" MTB. It unthreaded and then got ripped out. Can that usually be fixed? I'd just about be happy to WELD a pedal on there if I thought it'd help. I just need it back in there so my son can ride a REAL bike instead of his 20" "bmx" from wal-mart.
Thanks :)

Is the pedal or the crank arm buggered? If it's the pedal, you pretty much have to get new pedals. fortunately, they're not too expensive for a bike like this. If its the crank arm, it's possible to drill out the old crank and get an insert to replace the threads, but it's often more cost effective to just replace the crank.
