So a local motorcycle dealer is relocating, and put 9 defective electric bikes on Craigslist for $20 each. 5 were gone when I got there, and I took 2. What a deal, except no chargers and the batteries are plainly shot. Once I have new batteries worked out, I can see if either is fixable.

From what I can find online the bikes are the E-Cycle Dash. Apparently popular with people who need to carry a bike somewhere, like boat owners who want to pull it out when they put in somewhere. I'm assuming it'll be 36volt, if someone thinks differently I'd be interested.

Is this bike still on the market? Could I get a replacement battery pack, or will I need to rebuild these? Anyone know of some common fault that might keep them from running?

I used to own the exact one you have got 2 years ago. You can easily get 3 x 12v SLA batteries and a 36v charger on the internet. The bike can be easily fixed but the replacement for the batteries + charger may cost you about $160 USD. You can get used batteries & charger. I have what you are looking for used. PM me if you are interested. :)

I merged this originally because I mistook the Dash for this:
