Ok, very off topic, but does anyone here in NJ have a farmers license? If so, does it allow you to drive a car on road legally? Are cops anal about that? Also, do you have to show actual proof of a farm, or can you just say you plant produce or whatever?

Sorry, I'm just curious

Farmer's liscense? If you mean a liscense plate, those give the driver some exemptions reagrding trailering and stopping on the road. There is also a tax concession for those. As for a driver's liscense, you have to have a regular driver's liscense to drive on public roads.

I don't know how it's written in the books, but I was always told you had to be on farm related business to legally exercise it. My mom said her cousins in Minnesota usually tossed a couple of bales of hay in the truck to cover the legal end of things on Friday nights.

Of course, you could just do what I always did: Orange SMV triangle on the tractor and no one asks any questions.
