I'll be in the Boulder area next week and probably will have a day to visit bike shops.

Are there three or four shops (and/or great coffee houses) I should make sure to check out?

Thanks.

Well, if you are looking at coffee houses AND bike shops, then it would be logical to check out Amante Coffee, and Boulder Cycle Sport next door to it.

Vecchio's It's the best of both worlds, a bike shop with coffee.

Full Cycle on Pearl St. is a cool shop and there are tons of coffee shops in the area too.

You can't sneeze in boulder without hitting 4 coffee shops and a bike shop.

Sounds great...now if I can get a good bagel to go with it...I'm set!

Thanks for the recommendations.

Moe's is the place for fresh bagels and my favorite bike shops are Vechio's and University Bikes.

The Trident Cafe is just down the street from University Bikes and is 'the' old Boulder coffee shop. Enjoy your visit.

If you want to see unusual, high-end customs - I'd go to Pro Peleton - Parlee, Independent Fabrication, Time, etc ... Cris Soden is the owner - and president of the National Bike Fitters Assn - and really knows his stuff.

2615 13th Street - and great bagels/coffee in shops right there

I usually find myself wandering through McGuckin's Hardware Store. Who has Cervelo up there?

For breakfast the Original Pancake House off of Canyon. The best bacon ever!!!!

McGuckin's is a neat place. Plus it is next door to the sunflower market.
