Hello all. I currently have my eye on, what appears to be, a mid '80's Trek 460. It's a large frame size, red in color, and equipped with Campy components. The seller is asking $250 for it. To high?

Here is a pic. Sorry it's not the best. Appears to be no rust except surface rust on bolts and such.

Looks like a 1985 version. It came with Suntour Cyclone components back then, so you really need to know if the components all match, or is it a Frankenbike, or does the guy have the right model? Get the serial number and you can verify it easily at the Vintage Trek site. A Trek 460 Frankenbike is not worth $250.

The 460 was the bottom end of the racing bike line that year. In ready to ride clean condition, $175, depending on what is going on with components.

Campy doesn't show up until the model 670. It would be worth that price.
