Can someone please tell me how much a GT All Terra Karakoram steel frame late 80's is worth? Also how can i find the serial number on this bike? It was given to me years ago and Im looking to sell. THanks

I bought one last year..more like a '90s Karakoram...for $65 in good working shape, cheap spray bomb paint, good tires, a working computer and SPD pedals. I also bought one new in 1987 (maybe an '88 model) for something like $600 or so...and still have it. If yours is like my older one and has semi-horizontal rear dropouts and the U-brake on the seat stay, it is a cool bike that might have some niche interest/market. If nothing else, it's got simple potential as a single speed/fixed ATB and also makes an indestructible bomber.....I would be hard pressed to sell that bike for any price, but only for sentimental value. I figure it's "worth" very little, sadly enough.
