i didn't even notice that. i haven't ridden up Post Road in a few weeks or so, and i was going to use it for a ride on Tuesday, thanks for the heads up. where exactly are they doing the road work, before Old Westbury Pond, or up further? i'm only asking because i usually take Post Road north to Wheatley Road to Brookville Road to Muttontown Road into Syosset or go straight and pass 25A to Bayville...

I was there on Thursday and the only section I noticed that was a little bumpy and by no means unrideable was a quarter mile from the High School heading towards it. That may have changed on Friday?

Construction I noticed was between 25 and LIE on Post. The north 1/3 by the LIE was the worse. Don't ride there with loose fillings.
The south 1/3 just before the school was a bit bumpy, and middle 1/3 north of the school was about the normal crappyness.

I was there last night and it seemed fine till I got closer to the LIE by the pond. Wished I had taken your advice. Next time I will. Came back on Old Westbury. Hopefully it will be really nice when they finish!

I went to the Westbury HS parking lot about two Sundays ago in the afternoon, and the security guard told me I couldn't park there. Has anyone used the parking lot there recently?
