I'm charmed of this track bike of the 1920's I found on our local craigslist.

Information is very basic:
- ca 1920
- wooden rims
- rear brake
- coaster hub
- 1 spoke broken in rear wheel (+ needs trueing)
a. is it an interesting bike?

Wow! I don't have a clue what it's worth, but that is one gorgeous bike! It's my size, too!
It's definitely interesting to me. If it were on this side of the pond, I'd think it would easily sell for a couple of thousand dollars, and that's without knowing any more than you've posted.
I do think it's unusual that it has forward facing rear dropouts instead of rear facing track ends.

Sounds high to me. I don't believe it's a track bike, based on those rear fork ends.

I'd never have guessed it to be from "the 20s". Looks more modern to my eyes. There must be something more concrete in the era ID, no?

if those are wood rims but the frame is newer than advertised, those alone may be in demand from others with older bikes. Look wood to me.
Edit: Sheesh, i suppose i should read and not just look at the pretty pictures. =) Sorry!
I highly doubt that is a 1920s bike. But it still is interesting.
