Interested in the worth of my 1967 PX 10 Peugeot. Does need new tires, but in great conditon. Mafac Racer Brakes, All decals, Simplex rear derailer, quick release wheels. Can anyone tell me how to find this info. as well as a buyer. Have done research on internet for identificatin of the year, but can't seem to find value and buyers.

Dating may be off; it is not uncommon on older 60/70s Peugeots. If you used the first number of the serial number method, it is almost certainly off-- doesn't work for bikes of that period. I don't believe Mafac Racers were on the 67s, I think they were actually Mafac Dural Forge. Also, the equipment you list is not necessarily limited to a PX-- the far more common UOs had Simplex mechs and Mafac brakes, for example. The PX is one of the most commonly mis-identified vintage bikes out there, mostly due to confusion with lower grade models. Pictures are a huge help in this case.
This is not to imply you don't have a 67 PX, but to let you know how difficult it is for us to make a determination on value. We really need to see pics to properly assess age, model, and condition.
I am in the Richmond area, and would be glad to assess the bike for you-- I like looking at old bikes. I have no interest in buying it, however.
