Planning to ride both days next weekend and (assuming we get a sitter) Bess will be riding on Saturday with us.
Here are the rides....
Saturday is a winding, hilly loop around Cameron Park. 3 distinct sets of hills. Cothrin Ranch, French Creek, and Deer Valley. It's a short ride though. Just under 40 miles, and (I think) about 3500 feet. Leaving a little after 8am from Jackson Elementary School. It's at: 2561 Francisco Dr., El Dorado Hills. Here's the MayMyRide link for the route: http://www.mapmyride.com/route/us/ca/el%20dorado%20hills/187124925265664168
Sunday will be an easier route (sort of). 2 Hills + the Loomis Loop. We'll spend some time on the local scenic bike path for both warm up and cool down. The rest of it is up Iron Point, over the hill, Left on Empire Ranch. Down to Alexandra and then up Beatty. That's the hard part. After that, we'll loop around the top of Lake Natoma over the new bridge and head up Auburn Folsom. At Horseshoe Bar, we'll stop at the Flower Farm for water/coffee/early lunch, etc. Then loop around and back to the bike path to return to the ride start. Around 70 or 75 miles. Meeting for this one is at Hagan Park where we met for the Century Ride we did a few months back.
Anyone interested in either ride? Or maybe both?
