What's wrong with (D) and (F)? For practical transportation, a 'mountain' bike (equipped with racks and semislick tires) is much more useful than your typical 'road bike' with its skinny tires, high, hard seat, and dropped over handlebars. And kickstands are quite useful if you don't want to lay your bike on the ground all the time.

Reminds me of the time I had no choice but to transport a heavy desktop PC (less monitor) by securing it to the back of my backpack with heavy cord... Where there's a will, there's a way.
