My wife has a 2009 Trek 7000 WSD and I have a (just bought used) 2008 Trek Navigator 3.0 and both have the stock suspension seat post and seat. First time trek owners.
I noticed that when I changed seats on both bikes (to Brooks leather saddles), the seat post clamp that attaches to the seat rails seems to be too big to hold the new seat. When I look at the seat rails of the seat that comes stock on the bikes, they look to have a larger diameter that I am used to seeing.
Do I guess that my only option is to buy a different seatpost? Any sizing help appreciated.
