Just a word or two about myself. I have been cycling since I was about twelve, and am now 55!!! I cycle because it is the most efficient way of getting around whether to work or to holiday. I live in Carmarthen south-west Wales which is about as cycling friendly as a minefield. However there are some great rides around about - if you like hills. I ride a Bob Jackson (of Leeds) touring bike, with a made to measure frame, which I bought twenty years ago. The rest of the bike is mainly Campag, Mavic and Stronglight, and a Brooks saddle. Great bike - if the house caught fire I would rescue it rather than anything else! I do all my own mechanics, including building wheels.
