New to the forum, but have been cycling most of my 51 years. I commute almost daily 6.5 miles to my work as a Financial Consultant at a local bank. I ride a 1973 Cilo Touring bike, Campy equipped throughout. It's a bit old school, but I can't find a smoother ride and the Campy gear just won't wear out!
I am fortunate to have some of the best cycling roads available through Shawnee National Forest, Horseshoe Lake Wildlife Area, Cache River Natural Area, and the Mississippi River here in SoIL. My wife coordinates our local cycling event, Tour de Cape, and the tour travels through the above mentioned areas. Check it out at: http://www.showme.net/recreation/BikeTour/
