I am wondering whether it would be possible to put fenders on a Trek 1200 (not sure the model year). I need fenders for commuting, so if they don't fit, the bike gets replaced.
Here is a post (http://www.bikeforums.net/showpost.php?p=8459215&postcount=4) where a guy shares his success story about putting SKS P35 fenders on a Trek 1000, but based on my eyeballing, I just don't think my bike has adequate clearance above the rear wheel. (I don't think my bike has quite the same frame as his.)
My mechanical and bike knowledge are quite lacking, so I'm seeking input from more experienced individuals. Do you think fenders would fit on this bike?
