Last Saturday my friend and I biked from the top of the Balboa Bike Path to Manhattan Beach. In Marina Del Ray we crossed paths with a large cycling club with probably about 60-80 riders. Anyone who they are? They looked fast...

Without much information to go on, I'll guess West Los Angeles or La Grange. What color were most of them wearing?

That's the thing, I didn't notice a common jersey. Everyone was kind of wearing their own thing. All I did notice was a ton of fast and expensive wheels flying by the other direction.

Hmmm, I'm not too up on the rides down in that area and thir routes, but being a Saturday it could have easily been one of them, like the Donnut ride or something. We have the Montrose Ride up here, and it frequently gets 100-200 riders - mostly racers - hammering through San Gabriel Valley for a couple hours every Saturday. No club affiliation or organizer, just a tradition with bunch of hammerheads from different teams and ability levels.

There are a lot of bike groups on the west side.
My best guess is it might be the dockriders. They meet at Dock 52 parking lot for the start of their rides.
