the largest is 52. The sks chainboard has the largest as 48...

I've checked ebay, velo orange, nothing. Any suggestions? homebrew? It shouldn't be that hard to like cut a piece of plastic and put it there?

A 52T is almost exclusively a road chainring, not an MTB item and road bikes almost never use chainring guards. That's why no one seems to make them that big.

I shouldn't imagine it would be too difficult to make your own perfectly functional chainguard. The trick would be to avoid it looking ugly and detracting from the bike's appearance. If you've got a good local machine shop, maybe they could whip up something which would look professional.
