So I was out riding this weekend and i usually ride with my hands on the hoods. My hands were really sweaty and I could feel them slipping foward over the hoods on my Campy Veloce setup. And at one point when I hit a bump in the road did my left hand completely slip off the hood for a split second. I've ridden some shimano setups and they have those generous hoods. Is there something similar for campagnolo? I've read about the ergo levers (not sure if mine are the ergo type) but couldn't tell if the hoods are any "bigger" so to speak... I've also seen some campy setups where the entire brake levers/shifters were positioned higher on the bar.. does anyone else have this problem? i've already invested in a pair of gloves which should help with my grip on the bar on but i'd still like to have bigger hoods...

Tried taping your hands to the hoods with duct tape, yet? It should solve your specific problem.

Wrap some COTTON handlebar tape over the hoods.

Yes, you have Ergo levers. Ergo is Campy's name for integrated shift/brake levers. You might want to try wearing gloves. I've never slipped off of my hoods with them on.

If you position the hoods so that the "horizontal" top is sloping upwards a few degrees, this will prevent the natural tendancy to creep off the ends.
