I have been using the B17 for a few years with good results.. A few of my bikes have a pretty good drop from Saddle to Bars and I know that they normally recommend using a Team Pro or Swift saddle..
Have any of you made the switch from a B17 to a Swift? Any info greatly appreciated..

I have a Swift on the roadie and B17s on my mtb and fg. The Swift is definitely harder, but still comfortable, just not as comfortable as the B17. But it works better than the B17 for the more aggressive bent forward position on road bikes. YMMV.
I mostly ride on the road, and did not like the B17 when I tried it. I gave it a month (about 1300 miles back then), and the sides still irritated me, and I had to be extra careful when going over bumps because I could not take the pressure down-the-middle. I should mention that I prefer a more stretched-out riding position, because it allows me to engage my hamstrings more, and helps me control my knee problems. If I sit up too much, my knee-cap tracking issues flare up, and I'm sore for days.
I prefer Specialized and Terry saddles with center cut-outs. They both fit me great. Oh, and I prefer leather saddles to synthetic.

I ride a Specialized Toupe saddle. Most comfortable I've ever sat on.
I don't sit on anything made from animals, so I've never tried a Brooks...

I have a Swift on my road bike. I can't say if it's more comfy that one of my B17s, (I've done 100+ miles rides on each) but it sure looks better on that type of bike. ;)
