i hate the thing and i dont really need it... should i jus take it off and ride straight cables, hav sumone fix it or buy a new one? i was jus think bout takin it off and runnin straight cables...can u take them off any bike...and how do u take them off ???
isn't a gyro a greek foodstuff made of yummy beef/pork/lamb, wrapped in pita bread, and topped with tomatoes, onions, and tzatziki sauce? yum.. you might not need it, but don't take it off! eat it!

Don't fly into the clouds with a gyro problem. You'll end up upside down or in a death spiral. If you remove it you'll only be able to fly VFR.
Personally, I find it difficult to ride without my front and rear gyros... I mean wheels!
Didn't the space station astronauts recently do a spacewalk to fix a faulty gyro? Maybe this is a question from the International Space Station?
Hey, Space Dude! Your transmission to bikeforums got scrambled. Maybe that gyro is messing up your antenna pointing angle and generating bit errors. Try resending your transmission.

beyond the butchered english, the answer to your question is yes take it to a shop and have them remove it and re-cable your brakes. your bike is a bmx style i presume?
