I have noticed that i have two indents on the toes of my shoes where my toe clips have warn into my shoes and rubbed black marks in the indents. Also, I skid with my left foot and my left big toe was hurting me today at work, wondering if there is something going on with my toe clips. BTW, they are generic, Giant brand toe clips and pedals.
Anybody else ruin shoes or hurt their big toes when skidding/using toe clips on fixie?
Yep. And tipping over a lot after failing undo the straps ;) Running eggbeaters now

Are they new too you? Cause they do take some getting used to. If they are metal imo they are better cause you can bend them to help allieviate some of the pressure points.

What? A comment without a negative remark? Something just doesn't feel right. Kind of like hearing the skidding of a car without the crash. Has someone been feeding the troll happypills? Got any extra?
Cheers
