Electronics, Lighting, & Gadgets - Blackburn X8 lights - anyone?

I am looking to purchase these light for my bike since sometimes I get caught in the dark while ridding.
Has anyone used them on their bike, anything good or bad I should know?

Many better choices with better lighter lights. Just because its two lights doesn't mean they work twice as good.
Dinotte is a good choice for one. They have options, but the AA lights allow you to swap them out and not have to worry about dead batteries during your ride and wait to recharge.

Thanks robert, But I dont mind the battery specially if I am training. Because I figure that if I traing with extra weight it will be easier to race without it.

What I meant more than the batteries was that there are much better lights that the Blackburn, especially in the $120-$200 range.

I think they are combined almost as bright as a single Fenix Q5 L2D flashlight, which used to be the "king" of bike flashlights like 2 years ago. It's a little outdated now. At around $60, the Fenix is a little too overpriced for a 180 lumen bike light for me.

Considering that the X8 puts out even less lumens at double the price. . .well it's all moot. It sounds like you already had your mind made up regardless of the comments here.

Maybe it will be enough for you, but down the road you may want to try doing a search on "blackburn X8 mod" or something similar to upgrade to better LEDs.

I was in sears and lowes and they have 150 lumen flashlights for $25 or 30 now, small take AA batteries and claim 5 hours runtime (probally on low), if this helps anyone.

For the $130 the blackburn cost you could get the majicshine P7 bike light
