Long Distance Competition/Ultracycling, Randonneuring and Endurance Cycling - Are you a RAAM fan?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

If you have an interest in the history of the race, there's a new book that covers it pretty well. The book is called The United States Of Delirium - you'll find it in the RAAM Store, but Google the title for excerpts and photos.

Speaking of RAAM, they are now accepting entries for 2010! They have early entry rates if you know you're ready. ;)
See you at the start line!

Thanks for the tip on the book. And in return, a little pick of this year's winning 4 man team.

...this year's winning 4 man team.
I assume Tim will be back next year on some form of bent team? Maybe to go after the recumbent record? I know they were hoping to beat it this year but it wasn't to be.
