Anyone? Primary use is jumps and dirt. I have the latest Dans-comp catalog and I am looking at what is available there. My LBS's don't keep many 24's in stock. I want something I can upgrade parts as I see fit.
I welcome your thoughts.

There are some nice used ones on Ebay
There is a Redline proline it is up to 198.00
Hi, I am in te same boat as Steve. I'd like to get a 24" BMX to have fun on, but I have been out of the BMX world for a long time. There are so many brands that I have never heard of that I'm not really sure what to consider.
There are a couple of bikes that I have seen in bike shops and liked. I liked the Diamondback Lucky 24, the DK General Lee 24, and the DK Charger 24 (Aluminum). There is also a We The People dealer near me, but I haven't been in there yet. I heard that they have one called the Avenue 24. I looked at the Mirra Icon 20Forty, but didn't really like the paint scheme.
I agree that there are some nice used bikes on ebay, but it can be difficult to find them, and some of the prices are outragous.

I have the Sunday Model-C cruiser ,You will have to build it up.
They do not sell a complete.I have alot of coin in my bike.
It was well worth the money I spent.I had alot of different 24 inchers and this is the best by far.

The DK Cygnus 24" is nice. Full chromoly frame, forks, bars, cranks.

I am having a great time with this ride
Do you have some pictures of yours.
Here are some pictures of mine.I took off the stock stickers and had the local sign shop make some nice ones a little bigger.
Is the DK Cyngus the same as the General Lee 24?
Also, one of the shops that I visited had a DK Charger 24 with is aluminum. What are the benefits/trade-offs of an aluminum framer. Pretty much everthing seems to be chromoly.

Aluminum frames are lighter in most cases, but not quite as strong. I think they also flex a little more than a chromoly frame, but don't quote me on that, I'm not sure. The Charger is a race specific bike. And I think the
About it being the same as the General Lee, I don't think so. DK re-vamped their whole line of bikes for the most part since last year.
I guess from what I have been reading, I'm trying to decide between race bikes and dirt jump bikes. I don't plan on doing much if any of either. I just want somethig fun to play around on.
Oher than the race bikes being lighter, are there any benefits to them over the dirt jumpers? I understand that the dirt jumpers are a little sturdier.
The bikes that I like are:
DK Charger 24
DK General Lee 24
Diamondback Lucky 24
We The People Avenue 24
I have chosen these based on local availability and looks. Are there any that stand out as being better or worse than the others?

To me, the WTP would be the absolute #1 choice. It looks the best, full chromo frame, bars, forks, sealed headset, BB. Get it.

Thats nice ,I seen it on the Sunday web site Bill
You painted it yourself ,Nice job
What gears are you running ,Mine is 25/10
Well, because I was getting antsy to get it rolling I'm currently using my old race wheels, thus giving me a horrible 30/17 gearing. Later this month when I get the wheels I want (Black Ody Hazards w/ Ody hubs) I'll experiment with 10-12t in the back until I find what I like.
I also am waiting to get the Sunday 24" bars in black. Until then I'm using some old Ody Civilian bars. Same rise, but a bit narrow for my tastes.

Wow 30/17 that must spin out real fast ,I bet it climbes hills real good.
Yea the 24umph bars is what I have,I used to run the Metal dirty harry bars.
I tried a 25/9 but it was to much to get rolling at the parks,So I run 25/10 which is the way I like it.
