Hello,

Does anybody knows of any shop that sells custom sized spokes in NYC? Preferably around these areas in order: 1. Queens; 2. Manhattan; 3. Brooklyn. It would be nice to buy them immediately on the spot instead of waiting a week to receive small spokes. I have tried a bike shop in corona, flushing, and by bayside without luck. Thanks in advance.

A couple months ago I got some at Metro Cycles, 1311 Lexington, (212) 427-4450. At least, I think it was there-- if not, somewhere right near there.

In Queens (LIC), there is Bicycle Repairman. They have a Phil Wood spoke machine, so they can make spokes in any length you want.

Toga Bikes (http://togabikes.com/) on the Upper West Side has made replacement spokes for my Downtube Mini. The spokes are super small (16" 305 rim with a SA 8spd hub) so I'm sure they are making them custom to fit.

Thanks for the input everyone. i will try a closer shop tomorrow. If they don't have any, then I will head to Astoria.
