I just ordered some GU, tools, Lube etc from performance bike online at appox 12:00 Eastern Time, who thinks i will have this by friday, I need it for Saturday.

I have placed two orders with Performance - both times using 2nd day. My orders did arrive on time, two days later.
My orders consisted of clothes, helmet, tubes, tires, etc. - normal stock stuff.

I live in NYC and both times I ordered it's arrived on time. You should get it fri assuming someone's at your door to pick it up.

My last order (first one in about a year) came in just over 24 hours from when I ordered it. And that was USPS priority! If feasible, leave a note on your door asking delivery guy to leave it somewhere, just in case you are not home. Otherwise you might not get it until Monday.

In NYC... I wouldn't recommend it, they'll steal the note too. ;)

Unfortunately, I'm absolutely serious, it depends on where you live generally but in a lot of areas here it's like that. I mean, kryptonite names their strongest series of locks after NYC, how safe can this place possibly be. ;)

i get 2nd day from performance (team performance member) and as long as you order before 4 online or 5 phone (eastern time) i've ALWAYS gotten my orders in 2 days.. however.. do NOT wait until 3:59 or 4:59!

I ordered from Performance last week. I got a lot of stuff. Shorts, water bottles, lights, aerobars, and much more. It arrived in two days. In a HUGE box. Felt like Christmas with so many boxes inside the big box.
Nashbar, on the other hand, has been slow. I'm not even sure that they've picked the order.
