I won't make 100 this week. I rode to work 4 days, 15 miles roundtrip and 20 or so last Sunday. I have been busy this week with a Dell laptop we got for my daughter for her 13th birthday. It hasn't worked since it got here last Saturday. So I didn't have time any night this week to get my mileage up. Then the today and yesterday I was busy with my other daughters piece of crap TRU bike. The first one I brought home was bent, the second was also then a bolt stripped out on the last one. Nothing like wasting a weekend off fixing stuff when if I would've bought a bike at my LBS we'd be riding as opposed to running around.

long time no post. got slower on riding because i took a new job and it is getting cold. i am doing a biggest loser contest with some friends and my goal is 125 miles per week. some miles will be on rollers because it is dark and cold when i get home. i will keep this thread alive solo if i have to!

i knocked out 45 minutes on the rollers tonight. that was about all i could take of boring. it is in the 40-50's here at night and its too cold. i am used to my 100 degree beach weather!

Try riding in the colder weather - it is actually very enjoyable with reasonable clothing.

Do you ride your rollers with platform or clipless pedals? I'm not suicidal enough to try the clipless on the rollers yet...

clipless, i ride within arms reach of the wall in my garage. that way i can hold on when i start and stop. these rollers really help you learn to ride straight!
