Northern California - Condor Classic - Anybody Doing it This Year?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
Just signed up for the century. We still have yet to get a century on the tandem. I figured this should be about as easy as it gets for our first one (together).
It's fairly nice and they've made some changes to the route this year.

No sh1t! That was a lot of fun, eh?
They said the winds were highly unusual. I think we ran into some bad luck. They've made some modifications to the route that will supposedly help. I'll let you guys know if that's the case.

I'm doing the 100k ride. I'm up to 59 miles on my long rides, but a century with hills (and headwinds?!) would probably kill me.

The guy I traded pulls with on the way back from the Pinnacles was a local, and he told me the winds were standard for that area. Hmmmm....................

The headwinds will make up for the lack of elevation gain... :D
