General Cycling Discussion - my quads

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
look DAMN good after two weeks of cycling. I used to/do capoeira as a martial art and good cardio workout. As of late some decisions forced me to take an extended break and after a year off my body went to ****. Two weeks on my bike and my quads and calfs look better than ever! Still have a gut, but thats gonna come off soon enough.
Im tellin you all because my girlfriend doesnt care all too much if i start fawning over myself.

For her Birthday - or Christmas etc. - give her a picture of yourself. If she hits you, you did it right!

Just two weeks? I've been at it for about four years now and I still have chicken legs.

No ****, I've been cycling for around 3 months and I haven't noticed any giant changes in my leg muscles.

Eat more protein, noodle legs!
Mine have become pretty big over the course of a year. I don't think there was much difference after two weeks though..

Genetics play a huge factor as well. If you really want big legs (including quads, hams and glutes), start doing heavy squats (ala Tom Platz - yeah!).

This is my downfall, genetics. I'm always going to be scrawny.

Might want to try some BCAA before AND after workout/riding. In addition to liquid protein for recovery. Worked for me, took about 12 months to get things changed up.:thumb:
