Alright, here are the pics. Once again the jump is my FIRST and it isn't very impressive but its a ****load of fun. Mostly because I built it. It only took me about an hour yesterday. And I think the place has a lot of potential to become a great jump. But I need to find some better jump making dirt. So here is is right now. :p no laughing

Here are a few pics of me hitting the jump. Not the best because i'm always guessing the shutter speed on my digital camera. (If digital cameras have shutter speed?) This is my lil bro taking the pics. Thats me riding. SAFELY! Notice the pads. Don't wanna hurt myself.

On this first one it appears my pants got caught on my horrible uncomfortable seat. Oh well. Still the better of the two pics.

This is of course on your property or you had permission to build it? I wouldn't want someone else's trail shut down over that little thing.

Yeah its on my property. I'm gonna build it up in the future but I only had an hour of day light yesterday to build it so I was limited. I think its good for a first. But yeah its on my property, I don't think there are any trail nazi's around here anyways. So something on a trail wouldn't be ruined.

Are you the one that had acres of land to build on...if so

LUCKY BASSTURD :D...

If you'd consider 17 acres a lot :p

Like I said...LUCKY BASSTURD...

We had better see more builds, with that much land I would never be in the house on the computer haha

I need to bust out the chain saw one of these days and go out there with the dog. (I've seen 2 or 3 bears out there recently) and cut down some trees. Then I'll make some nice jumps. Most of the land is highly populated with trees. BIG trees TIMBER!

Try to use the trees. And work around them. Trust me there will be lines. Avoid cutting them down. (you can't always but you should be able to avoid too much work)

Yeah I know, I could make some killer singletrack out there. It's pretty hilly. I'm gonna go out there and work soon with some friends.

I'm a GREAT jumper, it's the landing that I sometimes have problems with! :)

I had a horrible crash (not on the jump I built) but on a tabletop on a trail near my house. I landed front tire on the downward slant and the rear on the flat top of the tabletop. My rear shock rebounded like crazy (at the time I wasn't a very smooth rider) and i went over the handle bars into some trees.

The best thing to do after an accident like that, if possible, is to go back and hit the jump again. Otherwise you will be scared of the jump and it might ruin your love for jumping. So always go back and hit the jump again if possible. Use common sense with this rule. If you broke somelike (Ex. leg, arm, collar bone) don't hit it again. Get some medical attention :p you crazy mofo.

Just practice. Build a small jump by your house (If possible) then work your way up to bigger jumps. That also works with drops. Thats how I started.

ROFL. Thanks for the laugh. Good work with the jump. It reminds me of when i first started jumping. It was practically led me to where i am now. Keep it up.
