After a few years of running 10K's, I have decided to give a triathlon a try. First step though will be getting a road bike. I have never had a road bike, but have gone through more than my share of mountain bikes. I have a choice to make, either an entry level road bike or a used bike. I do not have all that much money to spend, thus my limited choices. I have found some bike shops in my area (Lancaster PA) that have a nice selection of new bikes in the 350-400 dollar area. Mostly Giant and Raleigh models (year 2003). Does anyone have any recomendations regarding new and used? Also - where is a good place to find a great used bike? I am 5' 9" tall. Thanks!
