Bicycle Mechanics - Wheel pulls left and right after new fork

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

I just installed a carbon fiber fork on my bike with a barbon steerer, I used an expanding plug for it. I have it installed as correctly as I can tell but now when I ride the wheel feels like its pulling left and right off and on. Nothing is loose and nothing is over tightened. I also adjusted the height on my handlebars but I don't think that is the problem.
Thanks for any advice

Is the trail exactly the same as your previous fork?
You have brinnelled your bearing race.

I think that would be a very rare occurrence with threadless headsets. The compression forces are not that great. I think the twitchiness is due to the change in fork rake.

I only feel more confused. I'm going to my old fork
