Bicycle Mechanics - Is Titanium Magnetic?

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.
The subject line says it all... is Titanium magnetic? Just curious...

My friend is a chemical engineer, and he says that commercially pure (CP) titanium isn't magnetic, as it doesn't have enough iron in the mixture. He says there are forms/mixes of titanium that would probably have enough iron to be magnetic... So a TI bike might have a very slight magnetic property, depends on the quality/form.

If you're asking if a magnet will stick to your frame, the answer is no.
