Northern California - Ice Cream Social Ride Friday August 14

Bikeforums.net is a forum about nothing but bikes. Our community can help you find information about hard-to-find and localized information like bicycle tours, specialties like where in your area to have your recumbent bike serviced, or what are the best bicycle tires and seats for the activities you use your bike for.

Looking for a great way to wrap up the work week? If so then join us for an ice cream social bike ride.

We will meet at the Safeway Parking lot in downtown Los Altos at the corner of State St and First St at 6:15pm for instructions and route details.

We will depart at 6:30pm ON THE NOSE, returning shortly before 8pm to get some tasty treats at Miyo in Los Altos:
270 Main St
Los Altos, CA 94022-2908

This is a leisurely paced no drop ride! Sorry boys, ladies only!:thumb:

Please send an email to velofit@gmail.com for more information.

I was all excited until I read the "ladies only" bit. Fault a guy for liking ice cream.

Argh.. would love to join ya Bikebert but I'll be traveling to Marin for the Holstein ride. But I will probably see ya the night before for the Pixie Nation kick off. Are you still doing that? Haven't gotten an email.

When was the last "men only" ride we saw proposed? I guess it's become politically acceptable for women to be as seperatist now as men were in the '50s!

Is "Biker Bert" a man or woman? Is he trying to pick up women by buying them ice cream?

I don't think anyone will attend a "men only" ride anyway. :roflmao2:

BTW - This better not be an excuse to add in more black bands at the next workout.
