I got my evil srs in yesterday and tried mounting it today. The bike is a 2003 Stinky without ISCG mounts so i had to use the adapter. The problem is no matter how I mount the guide, the guide is pushed out so far that my cranks will always rub on some part of the guide. I cut a piece off the guide where it was rubbing, and when i put the crank back on, it just rubbed again beneath where i cut, so now the chainring bolts were rubbing on the main metal guide piece. The adapter pushes the guide too far out off the frame for the cranks to go back onto the BB. Like with normal ISCG mounts, the guide would be far away from the bottom bracket, but the adapter just makes a huge problem and makes it so the guide will not mount. I read the directions 5 times, tried remounting it more than 5 times, and spent 4 hours trying to get this guide on and it would not work. has anyone else had trouble mounting the guide on a bike using the ISCG adapter. im gonna bring it to the shop tomorrow to see if they can help me out too.
