Recumbent - I would like to arrange a trial spin on a recumbant for my girlfriend.

My girlfriend, Crystal, was fascinated by a recliner we saw recently. I think she would enjoy trying one. What would be the best way to arrange a little trial spin for her? We live in Chicago.

If I lived close I'd let you use mine...hopefully there may be someone that may chime in here with that Idea...other than that guess you have to try the local places that have bents. That's all I come up with.

Any local dealer that sell them should allow a test ride. If nothing else, it sounds like a great road trip to a dealer.
If absolutely no dealers are available, I think you should ask an owner. I think you might find them friendly enough to allow a tesst ride, if you approach it correctly. Disclaimer - your results may vary. ;-)

Amlings said we can just stop in and they'll let us try one. However it's over two hours by public transportation to get there. It's in Niles. I'll keep looking for something a little closer.

Rapid Transit is close enough. I'll send them an email now.
