Watching the Stage 4 TTT, every time the camera focuses on a particular team, it sounds like Hitler is barking marching orders on a loudspeaker. Kinda like a German version of Pink Floyd's "you...yes you...stand still will ya'!" Is it someone in a pace car shouting out stats to the teams???

They were showing Heras when I heard that. I had to laugh and wonder what he was thinking after riding for the much more laid back Johan for a few years.

When we were going to our birthing classes, we expectant dads were given a sheet with "helpful words of encouragement" to repeat to our laboring wives during contractions. Stuff like "you're doing great, I love you, I'm so proud of you, you'll be a great mom." Stuff like that. At the bottom, we were invited to come up with some of our own.

I put "!Venga! !Venga! !Venga!" It didn't go over well.

But Sweetheart, I said, don't we want our kids to be athletic and bilingual?

From personal experience, I've found that during birth comedy doesn't go over very well! Enough said.

This is very true. When I exclaimed "WOW! It can do that !," during the birth of my first child. Both my wife and the Doctor told me to shut up and be nice :(

I'd have to change teams.

Imagine if Johan Bruneel tried that... LA would coast back and smack him in the head.

Or, wack Siaz in the head with the bullhorn a few times. He'd get the hint. :D

Probably depends on the relationship outside of race day. The riders might like. I played basketball for a coach who was a screamer. I liked him, it was quite motaivating at times especially when he would get a T.

It sort of reminds me of the dude that keeps cadence for a rowing team.

Saiz must be great to his riders off the road, because I know if I had to deal with that prick during a time trial, I would hate him. I'd go back to the team car just to tell him to shut the **** up.
