Hello fellow Texans,
I'm looking to find somewhere that is very flat (less than 3% grade max) and has no stop signs or lights that I can ride in a loop or out and back for 30 minutes to do the test out of Friel's book (and in the Training and Nutrition forum) where you ride as hard as you can sustain for 30 minutes to figure out your lactate threshold. Does anyone know somewhere in or near Austin that would work for this? I live right by the veloway, but there is one super short but steep hill that would throw off the test I'm pretty sure. I also considered the Mopac loop but there are hills and stops that would not be good either.
Thanks in advance!!
