i found this great website last nite while searching for component/upgrade info. i appreciate the opportunity to join this community and tap into the invaluable knowledge base on bicycle maintenance. i've been mostly a road rider for 25 years and prefer to service my own bikes. i ride for good health these days, and when work is not busy i try to get in 60+ miles a week; a 'thousand mile year' is a good year! my motivation for the next year will be getting in shape for a philmont trek next june.

happy biking.

Welcome to bike forums. What kind of bike do you have?

Hey Cbad,
My PC is old and slow, like me, and I don't fire it up every day. Lately, I've been getting on my roadbike more often than on my PC. I guess that's a good thing. Anyway, I ride a '94ish Cannondale 2.8 with mostly ultegra components. It's my pyt. How about you, what do you ride around on and where in socal do you ride?
